A fresh marketing site for a 24/7 residential disaster response service in the Portland metro. Lean static-first stack, perfect Lighthouse scores across the board.

Context

Disaster Intervention Specialists is on the line for the worst day a homeowner has—flood damage, fire damage, the hours immediately after a disaster. The site had to do two things at once: project calm authority for someone scanning during a stressful moment, and make it dead simple to reach the team without burying the phone number behind a marketing funnel.

Challenge

When someone is in active crisis, the website is the difference between a call and a bounce. The work had to load fast on any device, surface the phone number prominently on every page, and explain exactly what services they provide and where they serve, without the marketing fluff that erodes trust at the moment trust matters most.

Approach

Same static-first stack as Pacific Prosperity: HTML, LESS, JavaScript, Netlify. A small site doesn’t need a heavyweight platform. Three core service blocks (Emergency Response & Stabilization, Client Support & Coordination, Pack-Out & Contents Services) anchor the home page. The phone number lives in the header on every page. Service area is named explicitly so prospects in the Portland metro know within seconds whether the team can help them.

Reflection

“Small builds shouldn’t get small effort. The performance and accessibility ceilings here are the same as any larger site. Both come down to how the work is done.”
